Die Band Mandrill ist eine afroamerikanische Musikformation aus Brooklyn, New York. Die aus Panama stammenden Wilson-Brüdern Louis, Richard, Carlos und Wilfredo gründeten 1971 die Band in New York. Die Spannbreite ihres Repertoires reicht von Latin, Salsa über Blues und Jazz bis hin zu Rock, Funk & Soul. Mandrills Musik wurde für die Soundtracks verschiedener Kinofilme (unter anderem "The Greatest", 1977, Regie: Tom Gries, Monte Hellman und "The Warriors", 1979, Regie: Walter Hill) genutzt.
