Minor Science has come a long way in his three year career, transforming from a leftfield house explorer into an engineer of hybrid, hi-tech music which doesn’t quite sound like anything else out there. His debut, 2014’s Noble Gas EP for connoisseur label The Trilogy Tapes, showed promise: its lead track, the glittering, weird “Hapless”, was played extensively by DJs like Ben UFO, and was described by The Wire as, “a pleasing clip round the ear.
