Die Sex Pistols sind eine der bekanntesten Punk-Bands in der zweiten Hälfte der 1970er Jahre. Sie wurde 1975 in London, Vereinigtes Königreich gegründet. Die Mitglieder der Band hießen John „Johnny Rotten“ Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook und Glen Matlock, der 1977 durch Sid Vicious ersetzt wurde.
