Wynton Kelly (* 2. Dezember 1931 auf Jamaica; † 12. April 1971 Toronto, Kanada) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazzpianist. Leben Kelly wuchs in Brooklyn, New York, auf, nachdem seine Eltern, als er vier war, von Jamaica wegzogen, und begann seine berufliche Karriere als Teenager in Rhythm and Blues-Gruppen. Nachdem er mit Ray Abrams durch die Karibik tourte, arbeitete er mit Cecil Payne, Dinah Washington und Dizzy Gillespie. Dann wurde er von 1959 bis 1963 ein Mitglied des Miles Davis Quintetts.
